As I work hard on my fitness to become healthier and in better shape for a man over 40, I was surprised to learn that more men die of prostate cancer than women die of breast cancer.
As I see my doctor yearly for a check-up especially since turning 40, I was also surprised to hear of the reticence of middle aged and older men to be conscious of their health and possible underlying health risks from lifestyle and family history.
Even if men don't do it for themselves, maybe they should consider their partners, children and extended family, as they would definitely miss you.
Men and those that love their men and fathers please ask them to make an appointment with their doctor for a checkup.
Also feel free to make a donation so that we can help the PCFA Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia with reasesrch and promotion.
